Working across the United States and internationally, he has extensive experience sourcing professional candidates in the Energy, Manufacturing and Consumer Products industries. Gail van Oosten
Co-founder and Vice President of J Halton Group. Gail has spent over 20 years in leadership roles in the Manufacturing and Consumer Products industries. Her experience gives her insightful perspective in the recruitment of professionals with Accounting, Engineering, Geosciences,Tax, Sales, Marketing, HSE, Supply Chain, technical and administrative backgrounds.
Gail began her career working for TAM, The Automotive Manufacturers Inc, where she learned her family’s manufacturing business from the ground up. Her success in bringing TAM’s products into the national retail arena propelled her career on to a nationally known automotive engine treatment company. This experience led her to a career in launching the national distribution of Motor Trend and Good Housekeeping branded products.
Bob is a Professional Recruiter with J Halton, LLC, providing executive search and staffing solutions to Manufacturing, Oil & Gas and Chemical companies. Bob’s primary responsibility is to create successful placement scenarios by working closely with candidates and clients to exceed their expectations and deliver substantive recruiting support.
Prior to joining LT/KRS, Bob worked for a local executive search firm for 6 years. He has also held positions of Human Resources Supervisor and Human Resources Manager in an Oil & Gas company and Oil & Gas Technology company. Bob started his career working in an Executive search firm and Oil & Gas Land consulting firm before moving into the Human Resources positions above. He has also served in the US Military as an Airborne Infantryman.
Bob received a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of California, San Diego.
Madeleine has 20 plus years of Executive Level Operations and Management experience in the Financial Services arena at Smith Barney and its successors. Her last position of Senior Vice President and Regional Administrative Officer afforded Madeleine broad experience in the areas of:
- Recruiting, hiring and managing Operational and Administrative personnel
- Implementing Training and Incentive Plans
- Salary Administration and Performance Reviews
- Budget preparation and P/L monitoring
- Compliance and Regulatory Reporting
In addition to the Financial Services industry she served as Senior Manager of Campus Admissions Administration for Alta Colleges where she coordinated the hiring process for admissions staff as well as training, evaluating and providing feedback to employees. She designed and developed training materials as well as best practices and standards for employees.
Madeleine’s insightful judgment and business acumen give her the ability to understand the employer’s critical staffing needs across the hiring spectrum.
Jim is a Recruiting Manager at J Halton Group. Jim spent his early career in the oil & gas industry working primarily as a petroleum scheduler. His corporate experience ranged from the mid-sized corporation of Oiltanking to the large Fortune 500 organizations of Kinder Morgan and Enron. He began recruiting in June 2008 when he joined Kane & Associates. There he worked with number of great recruiters who provided him with the training to be successful in his new career. In February 2013 Jim was reunited with his old colleague and mentor Greg Green when he joined J Halton Group. Jim has built a successful career in recruiting by focusing on Trade Compliance and Engineering. He has helped propel careers of individuals by working with top notch organizations and continues to work on relationship building by gaining the trust of candidates and clients alike. Jim has a strong work ethic and works tirelessly at matching the right candidate with the right company. His corporate experience, combined with his recruiting experience, give Jim an insight and real understanding of his clients and candidates needs.
